I came across Dawn Steaphens Borgs work while in university. I really liked his Insomnia photographs, which seem to display a young boy's battle with light and sleep. The images were taken in dark room settings while either artificial or natural light were used as the only source throughout each shot. This is something i would defiantly like to try and incorporate within my own work. Somehow using the light to show the relationship, power, obsession and the addiction. Wanting it to have more of a meaning.
